Comparing population health in the United States and Canada David Feeny, Mark S Kaplan, Nathalie Huguet, Bentson H McFarland Population Health Metrics 2010, 8:8 (29 April 2010) Comparison of the two populations shows that Canadians on average live longer and have better quality of life than their US counterparts, and this could be related to easier access to healthcare and lower levels of socioeconomic inequalities.
